Deputy Chief Resident at the Psychiatry Service - K. Jaspers
We are looking for a deputy chief resident starting May 1, 2026, for an 80% activity rate, for the hospital unit of the "K. Jaspers" section of the General Psychiatry Service (PGE) at the Psychiatry Department of the CHUV.
Context
The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the 5 Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, CHUV plays a leading role in medical care, medical research, and education.
The hospital unit of the "K. Jaspers" Section specializes in the treatment of mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and personality disorders.
Mission
- You supervise the multidisciplinary team
- You oversee the assistant physicians
- You personally take care of patients
- You assist the senior physicians in the management of the section
- You participate in the general development of the Service
- You collaborate in recruiting patients for research projects.
Profile
- You hold a medical degree (foreign title with MEBEKO recognition)
- You have an FMH title in psychiatry and psychotherapy or are in the process of obtaining it (foreign title with MEBEKO recognition)
- You have at least three years of experience in adult psychiatry
- You possess good knowledge of mood disorders and/or personality disorders
- You have a C1 level of French certified within the last 5 years for non-French speakers.
