Profile
The Nursing Service of the Regional Hospital of Lugano employs about 800 collaborators, distributed across the various departments/services located in the 2 sites (Civico and Italiano).
The people we are looking for will have the opportunity to carry out their work activity in two multidisciplinary operating blocks:
- Civico Hospital site (6 rooms): neurosurgery, neuro-orthopedics, orthopedics and traumatology, surgery: general - hepatobiliary - vascular – laparoscopic and reconstructive plastic, urology, otorhinolaryngology and gynecology
- Italiano Hospital site (4 rooms): general surgery - vascular - hand surgery - laparoscopic and reconstructive plastic, orthopedics and traumatology, gynecology, senology, ophthalmology and outpatient interventions.
Necessary requirements
- Swiss diploma as operating room technician (ORT) or
- Swiss diploma as nurse with Swiss specialization as instrument nurse or
- degree in nursing (Italy or other European countries) recognized by the Swiss Red Cross (or equivalent recognized titles) with proven experience (at least 3 years) in operating room instrumentation
