About the job
The Directorate for Security, Environment and Energy is committed to safety, protection and assistance, environmental protection, sustainable energy supply, and is responsible for building permit procedures as well as the Bern Zoo. The Office for Adult and Child Protection is the competence center of the City of Bern in the field of clarifications and guardianships.
Activities
- Advise and support minors as well as their parents and relatives in consensual and legal child protection
- Clarify risk reports
- Manage guardianships
- Coordinate assistance within the system
- Conduct child-centered counseling in conflictual separation and divorce situations
- Clarify and provide delegated social assistance
Profile
- Degree from a university of applied sciences in social work
- Professional experience in the field of child protection – further training is an advantage
- High social competence and resilience
- Planning and organizational skills
- Enjoyment and efficiency in administrative tasks (including report writing)
