Fiber Optic Installer/Technician FTTH

We are looking for a Fiber Optic Installer/Technician FTTH for our branch in Romanel-sur-Lausanne, for a full-time position of 100%.

• Performing optical welds and measurements with OTDR
• Installation and commissioning of customer equipment (BEP, OTO, etc)
• Reading plans and diagrams for network installation
• Installation and connection of new sleeves
• Intervention and maintenance on existing sleeves (repair, reconfiguration, network adaptation)
• Quality control of interventions according to Swisscom standards
• Compliance with safety standards and current procedures

• CFC electrician for networks or equivalent training in telecommunications network construction
• Experience in the field of fiber optics in Switzerland is essential
• Knowledge of the Swisscom FTTH network and its specificities
• Mastery of measurement tools (OTDR, photometer)
• Good adaptability and teamwork skills
• Driving license B required
