The Riviera-Chablais Hospital, Vaud-Valais (HRC), is an inter-cantonal reference hospital, bringing together more than 2,000 employees. The Rennaz Hospital Center has more than 350 acute care beds. It is complemented by two Geriatrics and Rehabilitation Clinics as well as two medical on-call services. We are looking for a patient pathway manager for the orthopedics department at 100% in Rennaz
This key role consists of bridging clinical activity and the imperatives of medical coding. You will support the medical and nursing teams to ensure the completeness of clinical documentation and optimize the length of stay.
The main missions of this position are
- Ensure continuous pre-coding during the stay according to the rules of the SwissDRG tariff system.
- Guarantee the completeness of clinical documentation of hospital stays.
- Optimize lengths of stay by anticipating and coordinating discharge plans with the multidisciplinary team.
- Provide medico-administrative support to medical teams to meet billing requirements in accordance with the SwissDRG tariff system.
We require
- A Bachelor’s degree in nursing or an equivalent qualification.
- A confirmed 10 years of experience in acute medical care.
- Experience in medical coding would be an asset.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and diagnostic processes.
- Excellent communication skills, strong commitment, and team spirit.
- An autonomous and rigorous working method.
- Excellent oral and written command of French
- Proficiency in standard office tools (MS Office).
