Job Description
TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Exchange with local business prospects to understand business requirements
Collaboration and management of local brokers to negotiate real estate deals
Financial management: understanding variances, coordinating with controllers to improve accuracy and identify savings potential
Leading relocation projects, including possible furnishing and construction work
Tracking investment and operating budgets
Implementing cost-saving initiatives and identifying services for adjustment or re-tendering
Ensuring all facility service providers and/or internal resources are effectively managed
Ensuring external providers have contracts and service level agreements
Continuous improvement of service quality
Collaboration with landlords to ensure planned maintenance programs are implemented and monitored
Ensuring compliance with local regulations
Collaboration with the ESG team to implement sustainability strategies and provide country-specific sustainability data
Cooperation with project manager(s) to implement renovation and relocation plans
Close cooperation with corporate security to implement security standards at the site
Collaboration with the global crisis response team in situations such as earthquakes, storms, theft, etc.
Development and testing of emergency and site coverage plans in coordination with IT and business functions
Preferred: Expertise as a safety specialist responsible for all occupational safety matters, including:
- Accident prevention for employees and management
- Planning workplaces, procurement or adaptation of work equipment under ergonomic and hygienic aspects
- Risk assessments
- Coordination of occupational medical measures
- Monitoring compliance with legal regulations
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience
At least 3 years of relevant experience in facility management
Experience in managing on-site facility service providers
Solid knowledge of operational processes and technical understanding of facility management systems
Good leadership and social skills
Fluent German and English skills (spoken and written)
On-site work with hybrid work options
Preferred: Background as a safety specialist (Sicherheitsfachkraft/SIFA in Austria)
