Timberland EMEA is looking for an exceptional Store Design & Creative Environments Coordinator to join our EMEA Marketing team based in Stabio, Switzerland

Let’s Talk about the Role
This will be a dual role leading both the store design for Timberland EMEA as well the creative environment from plan to execution.
You will oversee the layout and aesthetic of retail spaces, ensuring they align with the brand's image and business goals, and enhance the customer experience. As well, contributing to the development and executing against the Global Brand vision for in-store experience, focusing on creating innovative, immersive, and brand-aligned retail environments through collaboration with product, visual merchandising, retail operations and brand creative teams.
How You Will Make a Difference
You will achieve this by:

Creating store plans, selecting materials and fixtures, managing projects within budget and on time, and collaborating with VM, Marketing teams, Retail and Operation teams and external architects, to bring designs to life.

Lead store design projects from design to completion, managing timelines, budgets, and vendor relationships.

Create detailed drawings, plans, and 3D visualizations using design software, and select appropriate materials, finishes, and fixtures.

Manage the design phase for all new doors and showroom openings with the support of architectural studios, ensuring high level of execution according to the Brand expectations.

Support the development and implementation of the new store design concept, developing technical fixtures drawings, testing materials and revising prototypes with the regional vendor.

Driving the execution of the seasonal brand communications calendar and in-store activation strategy across DTC environment in EMEA.
You will contribute the development and execute against a cohesive retail marketing calendar that aligns with global brand priorities and regional objectives. This includes planning and rolling out seasonal campaigns, product launches, and key brand moments across all EMEA retail formats.

Building compelling consumer journeys through instore storytelling through one brand voice.
You will design and implement integrated consumer journeys that connect physical and digital touchpoints. From impactful window displays to in-store storytelling, you’ll ensure that every interaction reinforces Timberland’s brand values and deepens consumer connection.

Creating premium store environments through windows, POS and store design. You will oversee the adaptation of global creative concepts for EMEA retail landscape and lead execution of all in-store visual elements, including seasonal window campaigns, point-of-sale materials, and store designs. Working closely with creative and production teams, you’ll ensure that each store environment reflects Timberland’s premium positioning and product storytelling—creating immersive spaces that inspire and convert.

Fostering collaborations across marketing, merchandising, store operations and the global team.

Collaborating with creative and production partners to bring brand stories to life in-store. You will manage external agencies to develop and execute high-quality retail assets. From concept to installation, you’ll ensure that all creative output is on-brand, on-time, and on-budget.
You will ensure that every consumer touchpoint reflects Timberland’s brand values, drives traffic, and enhances conversion. You will collaborate cross-functionally to deliver premium, consistent, and locally relevant retail experiences that support business growth and brand heat.
Skills for Success
This role requires strong project management, excellent communication, and a deep understanding of retail spaces and trends

The ability to lead cross-functional projects in a fast-paced environment.

The capability to translate brand strategy into impactful in-store experiences

An understanding of retail dynamics, consumer behaviour, store design, creative retail execution and visual merchandising principles.

Technical skills to create 2D detail drawings using design software. Additional 3D software are a plus.

An expertise in managing creative productions and store design.

Business acumen – bridge brand and commercial goals.

A keen interest in the evolving retail landscape

Ability to manage multiple design projects simultaneously, adhering to strict deadlines and budget constraints

A customer-oriented mindset with the ability to identify challenges in design implementation and find innovative solutions.

Strong communication and presentation skills to influence stakeholder at various levels.

Degree in Architecture, Interior Design or expertise in a similar role is required.

Fluency in English. Additional European levels are a plus.
