What you can achieve:
Function as the central contact person for safety and health issues – in exchange with internal departments and external partners
Responsible for the implementation of the EKAS Guideline 6508
Advising managers and employees on all questions related to occupational safety and health protection – your expertise is valued and used purposefully
Planning, coordinating, and implementing all health and safety-related activities – reliably and proactively
Analyzing accident statistics, identifying causes, and developing targeted prevention measures – to actively promote the safety culture in the company
Organizing, accompanying, and conducting internal audits as well as inspections on occupational safety-related topics – with derivation of concrete improvements
Creating well-founded risk analyses for workplaces, equipment, and hazardous substances – taking into account current legal requirements
Continuous development of the safety standard through effective measures management with a focus on prevention
Maintaining safety-relevant documentation carefully and systematically – because order is a contribution to safety for you
Ensuring the storage conditions of hazardous substances
Leading the Corporate Health Management team
What you bring with you:
- Completed vocational training in an industrial environment as well as further training in occupational safety and health protection (ASGS)
- Professional examination as ASGS specialist with federal certificate or further training as EKAS safety engineer
- Several years of professional experience as a safety officer (SiBe)
- Independent, responsible, and proactive working style as well as lived safety culture
- Leadership qualities and leadership experience
- Independent, precise working style with a quick grasp
- Strengths in structured process review, safety-conscious thinking, and team-oriented collaboration with various interfaces
- Fluent German skills and good English skills in spoken and written form
- Confident handling of MS Office
