Payroll Team Leader (m/f/d) 80 -100%

What you will achieve

• You lead and support a team of around 3-4 people and are responsible for resource planning
• You primarily look after large national and international clients and advise them competently on topics related to payroll accounting, international employment relationships, social security and withholding taxes.
• You take over the control of complex payroll mandates or matters such as employee participation
• You lead implementation projects for new clients and set up payroll mandates on Abacus
• You ensure quality on the mandates and support the mandate managers with technical questions
• You help build new client relationships and further develop BSO Payroll – technically, organisationally and digitally
• You share your knowledge in internal projects, training sessions and specialist lectures

What makes you successful

• You have expert training or a federal diploma in fiduciary services, social security or human resources and have additionally further trained in payroll (e.g. CAS Payroll Expert or similar)
• You bring several years of professional experience in payroll, some of which in fiduciary or outsourcing environments as a mandate manager. You may also have already gained some leadership experience
• You enjoy dealing with complex specialist topics and have sound knowledge of international payroll issues, especially in the area of cross-border activities, social security and withholding taxes
• You have solid IT skills, very good Excel knowledge and extensive experience with Abacus. You use digital tools and AI purposefully to simplify processes
• You convince with clear and differentiated communication skills in German as well as very good English skills
• You are a true team player, actively shape change and contribute your ideas and opinions.
