The position is attached to the Real Estate Management Directorate (DI), which is responsible for defining a real estate portfolio strategy, developing coherence in the monitoring of major projects according to the 2022-2040 hospital master plan, in close partnership with the main State services attached to the Department of Territory, the Department of Infrastructure, and the Department of Health, optimizing the monitoring of surfaces and future planning, while ensuring the proper functioning of services. More than 230 professionals carry out their missions daily with constant rigor, a sense of service, and environmental responsibility.
The Loëx, Joli-Mont and Cressy Health maintenance sector is a multidisciplinary sector tasked with maintaining, troubleshooting, monitoring, and, if necessary, transforming and improving the technical equipment and installations of buildings spread across different sites.
Job description
You maintain, monitor, troubleshoot, revise, improve, and ensure the efficient operation of the installations and equipment under the sector's responsibility.
You autonomously decide on actions to be taken, respecting priorities defined in terms of vital or secondary parameters for the safety of patients, employees, and property.
You perform preventive and corrective maintenance. You assist with periodic inspections carried out by accredited organizations and conduct control rounds and regular readings.
You monitor the condition of installations and handle alarms from monitoring systems (building technical management). You keep work documents up to date and place orders for material replenishment.
You act as a technical advisor to users, control, and monitor work carried out by external companies.
You enjoy finding solutions to complex technical problems and also thrive in performing simpler, routine tasks.
You are autonomous and also appreciate teamwork, while respecting an established schedule.
You provide a 24/7 on-call service according to a set schedule. During on-call duty, you make all decisions and implement them to ensure the operation of installations and buildings.
You perform the role of fire on-call according to instructions and under the responsibility of the Prevention, Security, and Safety Directorate.
Qualifications
You hold a Federal VET Diploma (CFC) as an electrician installer, electrical mechanic, heating installer, or sanitary installer, or an equivalent diploma complemented by at least 5 years of professional experience in building or industrial site maintenance.
You have a strong interest in all technical sector disciplines: water distribution, medical gases, compressed air, wastewater drainage networks, heating, ventilation, air conditioning installations, normal and emergency electrical distribution installations, medical equipment, disinfection devices, washing installations for catering and laundry services, security installations, fire detection, control, extinguishing, emergency lighting, key management, nursing call installations, building automation, key and pass stock management, floor, wall, and ceiling coverings, troubleshooting and repairing hardware and other metal or wood joinery opening devices.
You have very good theoretical and practical knowledge in technical fields, knowledge of NIBT standards. Exams under articles 13, 14, or 15 according to OIBT would be a plus. Knowledge of AEAI standards, SSIGE regulations, VSM standards, ODIM, SIA 118, 380 standards.
Your strong customer service sense, team spirit, and openness to change allow you to perform your activity with ease and integrate quickly.
You have good knowledge of common office software, Microsoft Office environment, and CMMS and BMS tools. You master spoken and written French perfectly, expressing yourself clearly and concisely. You are organized, conscientious, and very comfortable with document management.
Thanks to your calm, composed, and discreet personality, you easily establish a trust relationship with your interlocutors, demonstrate cooperation and collaboration to assist colleagues while being sensitive to the presence of patients and hospital constraints.
You live less than 35 minutes from the various intervention sites. You must have a valid car driving license.
Additional information
You have a regular schedule but are able to be available outside working hours, including nights, weekends, and public holidays for on-call service according to rotation and urgent interventions.
