Senior Warehouse Specialist 80 - 100% (f/m/d)

About the Position

In this exciting role, you take on operational responsibility in the warehouse and actively shape improvement projects. You ensure that material and information flows run efficiently, SAP-compliant, and with high process quality. At the same time, you optimize warehouse layout, workflows, and systems and act as the interface to planning, purchasing, production, and external logistics service providers.

What You Can Achieve

Operational (50%):

• Manage and coordinate processes in scheduling, goods receipt, picking, packaging, shipping, and external warehouse to ensure smooth operations

• Ensure correct SAP postings, data quality, and traceability

• Support inventories, internal and external audits, and monitor key figures in quantity, quality, costs, and deadlines

• Coach and support the operational team on process and system issues and contribute to compliance with safety and process standards

Projects & Development (50%):

• Optimize material flow and warehouse processes based on key figures, layout analyses, and lean methods

• Independently carry out improvement and digitization projects (e.g., warehouse space optimization, scanner rollouts, safety and quality initiatives)

• Create and maintain process documentation, SOPs, and training materials

• Work closely with planning, purchasing, and SAP processes (MM/WM/EWM) and contribute ideas for continuous improvements

Your Profile

• Completed advanced technical college or equivalent qualification

• Several years of professional experience in industrial warehouse logistics (ideally 8-10 years)

• Very good knowledge of SAP (MM/WM/EWM) and confident handling of MS Office

• Experience in project management as well as process optimizations using lean or Kaizen methods

• Structured, solution-oriented, proactive, and hands-on working style combined with strong communication skills

• Very good German and English skills (at least B2)
