Project Manager (m/f/d)
About the Position
We are looking for an experienced project manager (m/f/d) who leads multiple projects from the offer phase to successful handover. In this role, you coordinate all internal and external project participants and ensure that projects are implemented on time, within budget, and to the highest quality.
Main Responsibilities
Acquisition & Customer Management
You tailor commercial offers to the needs of new customers and prepare proposals for general contractor services and consulting projects. Through regular on-site visits and remote contacts, you maintain existing customer relationships, handle inquiries, prepare offers, negotiate terms, and ensure compliance with contractual agreements as well as customer satisfaction.
Project Control & Execution
You take overall responsibility for managing multiple projects regarding costs, schedules, quality, and risks – from the specification sheet to project handover. You ensure that all construction work complies with planning requirements, is executed with high quality, and meets all relevant standards. You coordinate supporting functions such as planning, monitoring, reporting, and quality management and regularly consolidate reports focusing on occupational safety, milestones, risks, and cost overviews.
Documentation & Compliance
You keep precise records of all construction site activities and ensure that all documentation, permits, plans, and specifications are up-to-date and available on-site. With solid knowledge of health and safety regulations, you guarantee compliance with all relevant regulations. You approach problems and challenges logically and methodically.
Subcontractor & Supplier Management
You define goals, tasks, and responsibilities for subcontractors and monitor their schedules, budgets, personnel resources, risks, and project plans. You coordinate all external partners, check materials, and ensure that all work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. You prepare and monitor budgets as well as execution schedules and moderate regular coordination meetings with all project partners on progress, knowledge exchange, and result validation.
Controlling & Optimization
You analyze project results, reconcile deviations between planning and actual status, and initiate corrective actions. After project completion, you conduct best practice analyses and develop improvement proposals for future projects regarding processes, schedules, personnel, and partners. You prepare final reports for the lead project manager and management as well as handover documentation.
Project & Team Coordination
You structure projects by defining methods and control instruments and work closely with internal project participants and team members to ensure successful and timely project implementation. You proactively identify and minimize all risks that could affect project delivery, develop alternative solutions, and consistently follow up on issues until resolved. You keep all stakeholders informed and escalate problems promptly if necessary. By building sustainable relationships with internal employees, contractors, and subcontractors, you ensure successful project completions and handovers.
Leadership & Organization
You define work rules for optimal project execution regarding schedules, safety, quality, and costs and coordinate all project stakeholders inside and outside the company. With strong time management skills, you set priorities, plan strategically, and delegate appropriately. You show openness to feedback and use it constructively for continuous improvement.
This position offers you the opportunity to independently manage complex construction projects and significantly contribute to project success through your coordinating role.
