About the job
SAHB is a nationwide independent specialist center for barrier-free and independent living in the areas of mobility and housing. Our strength lies in advising people with limited mobility and their caregivers. We offer competent assistance in the procurement of assistive devices and equipment. To complement our team at our Assistive Devices Center in Lucerne, we are looking for a consultant for assistive devices 80%-100% by agreement. Your main tasks- You advise people with disabilities on the choice of assistive devices as well as on the planning of structural modifications and vehicle conversions
- You conduct needs assessments with clients at their place of residence in the Central Switzerland region
- You develop individual financing solutions for assistive devices and prepare detailed reports for cost bearers
- You review offers, invoices, and construction plans regarding the chosen solution
- You adapt assistive devices from our IV depot to the needs of the clients
- You preferably have completed basic training as a rehab/orthopedic technician, occupational or physiotherapist, draftsman, or sanitary installer, or have a comparable qualification or professional experience
- You have very good oral and written German skills
- You hold a category B driving license
- You convince with your pronounced social skills and assertiveness
- You are an organizational talent and enjoy working independently
- You are willing to learn, decisive, and resilient
