What you will do here

Ensure the operation of the infrastructure in the BFH buildings in Biel until the takeover of the newly built Campus Biel-Bienne (expected in autumn 2028)
Maintain and optimize the infrastructure first in Biel and later at Campus Biel-Bienne
Lead the respective team professionally and personally, create work, on-call and vacation schedules, and perform on-call duties
Be responsible for personnel and material costs
Support the move to the campus and participate in the preliminary projects "Operation" for Campus Biel-Bienne

What you ideally bring with you

Technical basic training EFZ with further education in the field of facility, HVAC or electrical at CAS level
Leadership experience and experience in a comparable position
Independent and precise work, networked thinking and a large dose of pragmatism
High social skills, especially in dealing with our diverse clientele (employees, lecturers & students)
Good IT skills (Office, CAFM), affinity for controls and regulations as well as solid German and good French skills
