What to expect
Your mission:
- Further develop the outbound processes in one of the leading Swiss e-commerce companies
- Increase efficiency, service quality, and profitability equally
- Think processes holistically – with a focus on customer benefit and sustainability
- Drive innovations – from automation to new service offerings
Your responsibility:
- Overall management for the logistics areas Outbound Parcels and Outbound Specialized including Value Added Services. You act as the central interface between operations and our valued customers and logistics partners.
- Multi-level leadership and development of the outbound areas with around 250 employees. As a strong leader, you create a supportive, inspiring work environment and space for innovation and individual growth as well as strong team cohesion.
- You work closely with the entire operations management to achieve our strategic goals and actively shape the future of our company.
- You identify optimization potentials and drive the development and implementation of efficient, flexible, and forward-looking logistics strategies/concepts with your excellent process and project management skills.
- Budgeting, forecasting, and controlling (of around 60 MCHF annual costs as well as corresponding investments)
What you bring with you
- Completed studies (e.g., business administration, supply chain management, logistics, industrial engineering) or equivalent qualification
- Several years of management experience in logistics, fulfillment, e-commerce, or a comparable industrial environment (> 10 years) as well as leading larger teams across multiple hierarchical levels
- Deep understanding of operational processes and modern logistics or warehouse technologies, high customer focus, and confident handling of internal and external stakeholders
- Hands-on mentality, decisiveness, and solution-oriented thinking
- Strong analytical skills, high data affinity, and experience with BI tools and KPI systems
