The INTERMEDIATE STRUCTURE OF BOVERESSES offers services for acquiring and developing skills aimed at as independent a life as possible. At the end of a training course, the people concerned are supported towards a living place best suited to their wishes, needs, and abilities. To complete our team, we are looking for a Certified Social Educator (M/F) at a 70% activity rate.
Mission
Support young adults with mild intellectual disabilities and sometimes associated psychological disorders in their project of independence and autonomy. Implement limited-time support in an interdisciplinary manner in partnership with the person and their network to enable personal and professional orientation towards a suitable living place.
Responsibilities
Be a guarantor of the values of inclusion, autonomy, and social participation
Work in an interdisciplinary manner
Actively collaborate with internal and external networks
Ensure administrative tasks related to the people welcomed, the team, and the institution
Participate in the maintenance (upkeep) of the house with residents and professionals (condition, needs...)
Ensure the quality of evaluation and future orientation of residents
Desired Profile
Degree in social education (HES, ES, IPC) or CFC ASE with significant professional experience
Experience in psychiatry or complex situations is a plus
Knowledge of PPH, the Mahvie grid, and the Vaud network is an asset
Strong motivation for developing new educational actions, ability to manage several projects simultaneously, and great availability
Relational qualities, sense of teamwork, and ability to lead a work collective
Autonomy, reliability, and ability to report on one’s activity
Organizational, writing skills, and synthesis spirit
Category B driving license required

Permanent contract.
Irregular hours, weekend work according to rotation, participation in camps.
