Your Tasks
We are looking for a committed and competent daycare center manager (m/f/d) to lead and further develop our facility as soon as possible. In this key position, you will significantly contribute to the pedagogical and administrative management of the daycare center and actively shape the future of early childhood education.
- Personnel Management: You are responsible for targeted personnel management and development of our team. You promote the potential of each employee through individual development plans and regular feedback discussions. Your open communication and the creation of a supportive environment help employees to develop and continuously expand their professional skills.
- Budget and Controlling Responsibility: You prepare and monitor the daycare center's budget, control payment transactions via SAP (creditors and debtors), and are responsible for cost center management.
- Parent Work and Communication: You coordinate the initial contact with parents, conduct parent tours, and organize parent council meetings. In addition, you regularly evaluate parent satisfaction and address this in general parent evenings.
- Quality Development: You initiate and evaluate quality development processes and take responsibility for safety regulations as well as ensuring quality labels such as Qualikita.
- Networking: You promote exchange with relevant institutions and actively participate in professional conferences and regional meetings.
- School Management and Pedagogical Development: You are responsible for school and teaching development in kindergarten and for the personnel management and development of teachers. In addition, you ensure internal evaluation and implement pedagogical quality standards according to cantonal requirements.
Your Profile
- Completed training in early childhood education (e.g., Childhood Pedagogy HF, university degree in pedagogy, or comparable qualification)
- Several years of professional experience in daycare management or in leadership roles in early childhood education
- Sound knowledge in budgeting, controlling, and administrative processes
- Strong social skills and enjoyment in working with employees, parents, and external partners
- Knowledge in early childhood pedagogy, quality development, and legal requirements for daycare centers
