We are a leading training provider for ICT apprenticeships across Switzerland and train computer science, media technology, digital business developer apprentices, and electronics learners as well as prospective ICT specialists in the basic training year in Bern, Zurich, and St. Gallen for over 250 partner companies.

For our basic training year in computer science application development, we are looking for a

Coach and Product Owner Computer Science Application Development (m/f/d, 80% – 100%)

We are looking for someone who not only "teaches" but creates a working and learning environment where young people can grow and mistakes are understood as valuable learning moments.

Interested in further developing the basic training year product and training the next coding elite? Here is your challenge:

You train prospective computer scientists EFZ (application development) in a practical way and take on the responsibility as Product Owner for the continuous development of our cross-location educational offering. You combine pedagogical flair, technical know-how, and enthusiasm for innovation.

What you achieve with us

• You accompany prospective computer science application developers through a year full of aha moments: from the first simple Python script to object-oriented multiuser applications.
• You promote future skills such as self-organization, problem-solving ability, communication, and reflection – because these are equally important competencies in today’s working world.
• Together with the team, you actively shape the basic training year product as a Product Owner: You recognize trends, develop ideas, prioritize further developments, and ensure that the basic training year is consistent in itself.
• You shape the next generation of Swiss ICT professionals – and have an impact that goes far beyond the basic training year.

What you bring

• You can develop object-oriented applications – and explain clearly what you do.
• You have basic knowledge of web technologies (HTTP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript) – bonus points for React, Angular, Spring Boot, Node.js, OpenAPI, or React Native.
• You are ready to take responsibility and contribute ideas to advance one of our central training products as a Product Owner.
• You are interested in topics such as future skills, learning psychology, didactics, and new learning.
• You have a degree in computer science (HF/FH) or equivalent experience.
• Ideally, you have experience in the role of Product Owner.
• You enjoy traveling and see work assignments at all three of our locations as an enrichment. Your home base will be St. Gallen or Zurich.
• You speak, read, and write fluent German.

No experience in coaching yet? No problem! We support you with a part-time methodological-didactic further education.
