We care for our 126 residents and their relatives with professional competence and a lot of human commitment. The situations of our residents—often directly after discharge from the acute hospital—are sometimes complex. Treatment, care, and support require specific knowledge in the field of geriatrics as well as individually tailored support in health, social, or emotional matters. The nursing development team works closely with the multiprofessional team consisting of the nursing management,nursing professionals, the medical service, and other departments from the nursing center and acute hospital.
- Support and guidance of nursing professionals and nursing teams in complex resident situations
- Participation and independent implementation of further training
- Evidence-based development and updating of nursing concepts and action guidelines
- Further development and support in the implementation of the nursing process
- Collaboration and contribution of geriatric and other expertise to the nursing development and interdisciplinary care team
- Participation in the direct care and support of residents
- have completed training as a certified nursing professional HF/FH
- have at least 2 years of professional experience in a Swiss long-term care institution or an acute geriatrics unit
- possess advanced training in geriatrics (CAS Intercare, MAS Geriatrics) or nursing science (MScN) or are willing to complete such training
- are willing and enjoy interdisciplinary collaboration and working in a small nursing development team that operates in the nursing center and acute hospital
