Correctional Services and Reintegration (JuWe) is part of the Directorate of Justice and the Interior of the Canton of Zurich (JI) and employs around 1,400 staff with diverse professional profiles. JuWe is responsible for criminal and measure enforcement, the execution of various types of detention, and the successful social reintegration of offenders.

Your analyses provide guidance where it matters.

To strengthen our Controlling, Financial Planning & Reporting department, we are looking for an experienced, professionally strong, and committed individual from March 2026 or by arrangement, who approaches complex issues in a structured way and enjoys further developing controlling.

Your tasks
- You design and develop a modern, data-driven controlling system and support budgeting, forecasting, and multi-year planning.
- You transform data into meaningful reports, data models, dashboards, and decision bases – focusing on strategic management and decision-making.
- You identify and realize automation and optimization potentials in processes and systems and contribute to building BI solutions and future-proof reporting architectures.
- You ensure high data quality, transparency, and reliability
- You act as a central interface between business, IT, and controlling, bringing together different perspectives
- You take responsibility in exciting projects with cross-departmental impact

Your profile
- You have a degree in business administration, controlling, business informatics, computer science/IT engineering, or a comparable qualification
- You bring solid, long-standing controlling experience combined with experience in building and further developing reporting, BI, or data management solutions; project experience is an advantage.
- You have very good user knowledge of Excel and experience with SAP
- You communicate confidently in German, both spoken and written, and have very good oral English skills
- You meet the requirements for an impeccable reputation (no entries in the criminal or debt enforcement register)
