HR Business Partner fixed-term 80 - 100%Are you an open and empathetic personality, do you want to contribute your skills as an HR Business Partner at the Correctional Services and Reintegration (JuWe) and develop yourself and us further? Then you are the right reinforcement for our team!
JuWe is part of the Directorate of Justice and the Interior of the Canton of Zurich and is responsible for penal and measures enforcement as well as the implementation of various types of detention. We employ 1,400 staff from around 40 professional groups - from gardeners to doctors.
From February 1, 2026, or by agreement, we are looking for a committed, team-oriented, and responsible personality for the role of HR Business Partner. The position is limited to one year.
This is your field of activity
- You advise our managers and employees on all questions related to the employment relationship
- You act as a sparring partner for managers and support them in conducting conversations in difficult situations such as dismissals, conflicts, etc.
- You accompany health cases from your areas in cooperation with an external case management
- You manage and ensure the processing of common HR processes, working closely with our HR service partners
- You support us in the further development and professionalization of our HR services
This is what you bring
- You have successfully completed the federal specialist certificate as an HR specialist and already have several years of professional experience in a comparable function – preferably in public administration
- Thanks to your pronounced service and customer orientation, you understand the needs of the organization as well as your partners. At the same time, you convince and mediate through your professional communication in difficult personnel situations
- You appreciate close collaboration within the team, thrive when things get hectic, and are not afraid of administrative tasks
- Your affinity for digital tools and your cross-departmental thinking help you recognize and implement optimization opportunities
- Your German, both spoken and written, is confident and stylistically secure
- In addition, you have a clean record (no entries in the criminal and debt enforcement registers)
