Become part of our team and work on an Android app that enables automated drone flights for pipeline inspections.
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Concept and responsibility for the app architecture
- End-to-end development: from idea to implementation
- Testing with various drone systems including test flights
- Design of high-performance UIs in close collaboration with product management
- Quality assurance with unit, UI, and instrumentation tests
- Operation & maintenance: crash analysis, performance tuning, security hardening
- Support during customer meetings, demos, and trade fairs
Profile & Requirements
- Several years of experience in native Android development with Kotlin
- Solid practical knowledge of modern Android architectures (e.g., Clean Architecture, MVVM/MVI) and modularization
- Experience with dependency injection (e.g., Hilt/Dagger) and persistence (Room, SQL)
- Confident in building CI/CD pipelines and test automation (unit, UI, instrumentation tests)
- Practical experience in debugging: methodical approach to root cause analysis and implementation of robust fixes
- Experienced in API integration and offline strategies
- Clear, team-oriented communication style
