To complete our Dermatopathology team in Epalinges, we are immediately or by agreement looking for an independent, detail-oriented, and quality-conscious person as a Biomedical Analysis Technician.
- Within our state-of-the-art histology laboratory, you participate, as part of a small team, in the entire process of preparing histological tissue samples and thus contribute significantly to ensuring that patients, medical practices, and hospitals throughout Switzerland receive precise diagnoses as quickly as possible for rapid therapeutic decisions.
- You enter tissue samples, including patient data registration, using a computer system, embed paraffin tissues, and cut paraffin blocks on all types of microtomes, including performing cryostat sections.
- You independently perform macroscopic preparations.
- Managing H&E staining and immunohistochemistry staining automates, manual special stains, as well as preparation and cutting of MOHS surgery specimens at the medical practice and SLOW-MOHS sections in the laboratory are part of your varied tasks.
- Diploma as TAB/ES, medical laboratory technician, biology laboratory technician, or deemed equivalent
- Training in histology
- Ability to work independently
- Good knowledge of French (minimum B2)
