Economist in Insurance Supervision Swiss Re Group (m/f/d)

Actively contribute your insurance expertise and help us further develop insurance supervision. In this role, you can make a direct impact.

• Collaboration in the Swiss Re Group supervision team
• Independent analysis of financial and risk information in both regular and case-related supervision, if necessary involving subject matter experts
• Maintaining regular dialogue with the supervised entity and its audit firm
• Participation in on-site inspections or intensive supervision of the insurance group
• Mutual support, knowledge transfer, and representation within the team
• Coordination, responsibility, or support of working groups or projects

• University degree with a business or economics background, further training as CFA or FRM is an advantage
• 5 - 8 years of professional experience in the reinsurance industry
• In-depth knowledge in capital, liquidity, or enterprise risk management
• Ability to quickly grasp complex issues, independently develop solution proposals, and confidently apply regulatory principles in practice; combined with proactive and responsible behavior
• Convincing demeanor towards the supervised entity, even in difficult discussions
• Affinity for interdisciplinary collaboration and strong team spirit
• Very good language skills in German (C2) and English (C2)
