Your tasks

• Reception of samples, sorting and checking their compliance
• Performing macroscopic examination of samples
• Embedding in paraffin after dehydration of samples
• Cutting sections with a microtome
• Staining slides and performing immunostaining (manually and with an automated system)
• Performing frozen sections
• Preparing slide trays and distributing to pathologists/digitization
• Stock management and working closely in a team and being available to colleagues

What you bring

• Diploma as Biomedical Analysis Technician ES, CFC laboratory technician, or equivalent training
• Knowledge of histology sample compliance criteria
• At least 1 year of experience in histology sample preparation
• Experience in producing quality and quantity cuts
• Ability to follow a work protocol independently
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize them
• Enjoy working in a team
• Native French speaker or C1/C2 level according to the European language framework
