Specialist Craftsman/-woman Waterbody Maintenance

In the cantonal waterbody maintenance operation Glatt, 11 employees work. We are responsible for the maintenance of large and medium flowing waters from Lake Greifen to the Rhine for about 100 km of shore. Our workshop is located directly on the Glatt in Glattbrugg. We ensure flood protection of our flowing waters through operational and structural maintenance and provide species-rich and natural shores.

Your tasks

• Operating all machines in the machine park (tractor with crane trailer / wheeled excavator / transporter / slope equipment carrier / tractor with drive axle trailer / single-axle mower)
• Shoreline shrub maintenance
• Mowing work on the banks of our waters
• Implementing engineering biological measures (hydraulic engineering)
• Maintaining and creating recreational facilities (benches, etc.)

Your profile

• You have training as a forest ranger EFZ / farmer EFZ / landscape gardener EFZ or comparable training
• You are used to operating large and small machines
• You enjoy working in and with nature
• Driver's license B / BE
