The SV Group is a leading gastronomy and hotel management group based in Dübendorf near Zurich. The group operates in several business areas: restaurants for companies and schools, hotels with own brands as well as other renowned brands as franchisee, public restaurants with innovative concepts, as well as gastronomic delivery service and catering. The SV Group employs around 5,800 people, of which 4,000 are in Switzerland.
The SV Group traces back to the non-profit organization "Schweizer Verband Soldatenwohl" founded in 1914. Else Züblin-Spiller established soldiers' lounges nationwide and served balanced and affordable meals there. The founder's idealistic values are continued today by the SV Foundation. This charitable foundation is the majority shareholder of the SV Group and uses its funds for projects in the field of healthy nutrition and for the common good.
In the Food Market of ETH Zurich on the Hönggerberg campus, our host team with around 60 employees spoils about 2,300 guests daily. The modern food court with a front cooking concept offers 12 menu lines, a large salad buffet, as well as varied promotions and special events. The facility is bright, modern, and invites you to linger on two terraces. Our operation places great value on freshness, quality, and sustainability.
The restaurant has introduced the "ONE TWO WE" program, which SV Switzerland developed in cooperation with WWF Switzerland for climate-friendly community catering. With this, the operation has committed to gradually reducing CO2 emissions. Therefore, the restaurant places great emphasis on seasonal, regional products and an attractive vegetarian and vegan cuisine.
Working hours are Monday to Friday between 6:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., depending on the duty roster. Weekend shifts are rarely required.
