About the job
The Heime Uster are a public-law institution for long-term care with a wide-ranging offer that is entirely oriented towards the needs of the residents. Around 300 employees are dedicated with great passion and empathy to the 220 residents at the two locations Im Grund and Dietenrain.
We are very proud to offer around 60 apprentices and students in the fields of care and support, hospitality, and housekeeping a first-class education. They gain exciting insights into various settings, acquire a lot of valuable knowledge, and gather plenty of practical experience for their professional future.

Your main tasks
For our residents, for the guests in our public restaurants, and for the employees of Heime Uster, you lovingly prepare starters, main courses, desserts, and cold platters. You also assist with our banquets and catering. You are part of a team and learn to organise workflows in the kitchen and to create menu plans.
What you bring with you
- Secondary school leaving certificate level A or B
- Quick comprehension
- Strong sense of taste

- Willingness to work irregular hours
- High team spirit
- German language skills at least level B2
