The Challenge/Job
As a Senior Researcher working in SAP’s Corporate Strategy Group/CMI, you have a three-part job.
· Analyst/Researcher working side by side with Corporate Strategy to support and improve our global Customer Loyalty survey programs by leveraging Qualtrics, Python, DataBricks and other tools collect, analyze and present research findings across the business to drive action. (Primary Focus)
· Project Coordination organizing end-to-end execution of each survey wave including activating key business contacts, driving contact nomination, survey updates, translations, distributions, workflows, ticketing, dashboards, user access, and reporting (Secondary Focus)
What Success Looks Like in the Role
· As an Analyst/Researcher, success is working side by side with researchers across the company to collect survey data and deliver timely and accurate reports that drive actions leading to positive change for SAP customers.
· As a Project Coordinator, success looks like regular & clear communication of timelines, risks, and blockers to ensure tasks are done on time and meet specifications.
A Day in the Life
· As an Analyst/Researcher, you will analyze survey response data to understand key customer successes and pain points. You will use DataBricks, SQL, Spark, Python, and other tools to access SAP’s vast datasets to bring additional dimensions into your analysis and unlock further understanding. You will summarize these stories into actionable insights via PowerPoint and other data visualization tools. You will also support Qualtrics operations (survey updates, workflows, ticketing, dashboards) to ensure accurate data collection and drive close-the-loop activities.
· As a Project Coordinator, you will track open and upcoming tasks via JIRA and regularly communicate with a cross-functional team of approx. 20 people to ensure tasks are completed on time and meet all required specifications. You will meet with project leads to communicate risks, blockers, and updates. You will create, maintain, and socialize assets to track deliverables, especially those with dependencies.
Your Background
You are a data nerd at heart and you love to ask questions and explore the data to find answers. You love turning data into insights. You obsess over delivering written and visual communications that are as clear, concise and thought-provoking as possible You know how to extract and ingest data into Qualtrics for the business to use. You are able to simplify the complexity in working with data. You are extremely organized and communicate clearly and often to drive high-quality, timely results. You care about understanding the customer, partner and employee experiences and want SAP to deliver experiences that align strategically with business goals. You also like to work with people and you’re not afraid of presenting in front of large groups. You have used JIRA for work management. You have done Python coding in the past and have experience with tools like DataBricks for data wrangling, API calls, and analysis.
Minimum Qualifications
· Master’s or Bachelor's Degree in BA/BS in Economics, Mathematics/Statistics, Marketing or Social Science, IT or Engineering.
· 5+ years of work experience
· Experience using Qualtrics, Excel, Python, Spark, SQL, DataBricks, and Powerpoint for data analysis and reporting
· Strong quantitative analytical skills with competence in statistical techniques, analytics and reporting used in research such as correlation, regression, KPI metric development, segmentation and modeling
· Experience with data visualization and communication of key findings
· Strong verbal and written communication skills to present analysis and insights including trends and opportunities to stakeholders and the business (both technical and non-technical audiences)
· In-depth knowledge of the Qualtrics platform, understanding the end-to-end flow of building surveys, workflows, dashboards, and ticketing including API calls and Intergrations.
· Experience organizing projects with multiple dependencies and stakeholders of technical and non-technical backgrounds
· Strong verbal and written communication skills to present tools, processes and dashboards to stakeholders and the business.
· Believes in eating one's own dog food and using that experience to drive the creation of exceptional customer facing products
· High standard of detail, excellence, professionalism, and role model behavior
Preferred Qualifications
· Familiarity with working in SAP’s data space including BW, CRM and newer spaces like HANA Data Lake, Business Data Cloud and DataSphere.
· Experience as a program /project manager leading multiphase, large scale research programs.
· Experience working in and use JIRA for work management.
· Working on a global team where peers are across time zones and have diverse cultures

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is $133100 - $276,800(USD) USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
