Job Description
To strengthen our dedicated team, we are looking for a responsible and empathetic midwife.
In addition to classic obstetrics, you also bring interest and joy in co-caring for gynecological patients on the ward.
Your Tasks
Holistic professional support and care of women during pregnancy, birth and postpartum period
Support of self-determined and individual births
Monitoring and promotion of mother-child bonding in the first days after birth
Initial care and nursing of newborns in the postpartum period
Care and nursing of gynecological patients before and after surgical procedures (e.g. hysterectomies or laparoscopies)
Close collaboration within an interdisciplinary team
Active participation in the further development of nursing quality and interprofessional collaboration
Midwives accompany women and their families through pregnancy, birth and postpartum, promoting both the health of mother and child as well as a safe and individual birth experience.
Qualifications
Completed training as a midwife (BSc / HF) or equivalent, recognized training in Switzerland
Professional experience in obstetrics and/or postpartum care and with the attending physician system
Interest in caring for gynecological patients
Empathy as well as high social and professional competence
Independent, responsible and structured way of working
Enjoyment of working in an interdisciplinary team
Resilience, flexibility and willingness to work shifts and weekends
Very good German skills in spoken and written form
