The holder controls and calibrates the measuring devices used in the process. He/she is responsible for troubleshooting as well as preventive maintenance. He/she may be required to replace the shift electrician.

Your daily tasks:

The holder works within maintenance in the following areas:

In terms of Routine Maintenance

• Ensures preventive maintenance during the annual technical shutdown.
• Ensures the metrological verification of instrumentation devices and maintenance of control valves, and works in collaboration with Quality Assurance.
• Ensures the availability of working standards and their control.
• Monitors regulatory controls and subsequent corrective actions.
• Proposes and implements technical modifications.
• Proposes modifications and improvements to preventive maintenance plans. Proposes and writes new standards.
• Participates in improvement meetings using Nestlé tools.
• Implements actions resulting from failure analyses. If necessary, calls on other skills if needed.

In terms of Projects

• Participates in defining instrumentation needs.
• Proposes technical solutions in his/her field.
• Specifies equipment according to local standards.
• Participates in projects with the design office, participates in installation tests during commissioning.
• Controls installations carried out by external companies.

Within the framework of maintenance work carried out by subcontractors

• Coordinates external companies in his/her field of activity, issues work permits and lockout certificates.
• Participates in consultations and writes purchase requests for work.
• Organizes, supervises, and accepts the work.
• Writes prevention plans.

Your assets for success:

• BTS CIRA or DUT Physical Measurements or equivalent experience, and 3 years of experience in a similar position.
• Knowledge of regulation.
• Knowledge of technical English.
• Knowledge of processes, installations, and safety procedures.
• Analytical mind, fault diagnosis, synthesis skills.
• Autonomous, organized, prioritizes, proactive, exemplary.
• Good interpersonal skills, good cross-functional communication.
