To complete its team, the emergency department is looking for community health and care assistants with an activity rate between 80% and 100% for a permanent contract.

Context

The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the 5 Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, CHUV plays a leading role in the fields of medical care, medical research, and education.

The emergency department ensures the reception, triage, orientation, and provides emergency and resuscitation care for adult and child patients. As a reference hospital for the canton and its neighboring area, its mission is also to ensure the medical, surgical, psychiatric, and/or medico-social evaluation of patients for immediate treatment and secondary orientation (towards CHUV services, other care structures, or home).

Mission

• You work closely with the nursing team in patient care
• You responsibly and autonomously support patients in aspects of daily living activities
• You carry out care and monitoring delegated by the nurse
• You provide medico-technical care under supervision in stable care situations
• You perform administrative and logistical tasks related to patient care.

Profile

• You hold a Federal Certificate of Competence (CFC) as a community health and care assistant (ASSC)
• You have an interest in acute and complex care
• You are a dynamic, committed, motivated person with a sense of responsibility.

Depending on the candidate's profile, the salary scale will be between 5 and 6.
