Your Tasks
- Under specialist medical responsibility, you design diagnostics and treatment within the multiprofessional team
- This includes the clinical-diagnostic assessment of patients, indication setting, clarification of legal status, as well as therapy planning and implementation
- The focus is on older, mostly still independent patients – based on a transdiagnostic understanding and with the goal of maintaining their greatest possible autonomy
- You actively drive the further development of our contemporary, patient-oriented, and integrative treatment concepts
- You are also committed to their implementation in close exchange with supervisors and the interprofessional team
- You plan and coordinate the medical-therapeutic resource deployment on your ward
- Close collaboration with other specialties and wards of Psychiatry Baselland as well as with external practitioners and authorities is a matter of course for you
- In addition, you are actively involved in the training of assistant physicians and assistant psychologists
Your Profile
- You hold a specialist title in psychiatry and psychotherapy or are about to obtain it
- You have already acquired the specialty title in geriatric psychiatry or it is to be acquired within the scope of the employment
- You are open to cross-setting activities in the sense of treatment continuity
- You enjoy working in multiprofessional teams; you convince through your quick comprehension, independent working style, and responsible actions
- Leadership skills and enthusiasm for conceptual further development of treatments are among your strengths
- You have a recognized MEBEKO accreditation
- Very good German skills in spoken and written form (at least level C1) complete your profile
