Job Description
The Department of Plant Sciences, whose main theme is molecular biology of plants, at the University of Geneva is looking for an Assistant Professor specialized in vitamin B1 metabolism in Arabidopsis.The selected candidate must have good knowledge in molecular biology of plants and particularly vitamin B1 metabolism in plants.
He/she must have expertise in genetics, biochemistry, and plant physiology in Arabidopsis, as well as in analyzing the regulation of plant proteins using immunochemistry and mass spectrometry.
He/she should have good skills in advanced molecular cloning and performing transient assays on tobacco.
The candidate must master the measurement of vitamin B1 in plants using HPLC.
Required title and skills
PhD in Sciences plus 3 years of postdoctoral experience in the relevant field.Have an advanced level of spoken and written English.
