About the job
Your new role
You don't want to manage but actively shape the digital transformation of the city? Then you are exactly right with us. You will take over the leadership of the Innovation + Transformation department with the claim to independently develop and actively shape the area of responsibility. Together with your two teams "Projects" and "ICT Security and Architecture," you position the department as a driving force and specifically expand the very good cooperation with internal and external stakeholders. You identify fields of action and initiate varied transformation projects. You accompany projects from planning through tenders to successful completion. You also understand the management of project controlling, the creation of project status reports, and their result assurance as leadership tools. Additionally, you are responsible for strategic ICT security and architecture, further develop city-wide security awareness and the certified ISMS, ensure the high ISO 27001 standards, and shape the technology architecture together with the specialists in a future-oriented manner.
You bring with you
- several years of professional experience in an ICT leadership, coordination, or transformation position
- several years of experience in an ICT operations organization
- proven track record in innovative transformation projects (e.g., Cloud/M365, AI, robotics, automation, BPMS, business transformation)
- practical knowledge in project and project portfolio management
- an independent, structured, solution- and result-oriented personality who enjoys working in a team and has a confident handling of complex issues and contexts
- networked thinking as well as the talent to win over others through your integrative, motivating, and empathetic personality
- present complex content appropriately and convincingly at different levels
