The ZVB is moving. With a high quality of service, we are part of the public infrastructure in the Zug region. Our operations center ensures daily that the timetable is adhered to and that our passengers reach their destination even in extraordinary situations. As part of a succession plan, we are looking for a strong leader for the operations center as a department head with foresight, entrepreneurial thinking, and the motivation to shape the future together with us.

Your Tasks

You are responsible for a smoothly functioning and customer-oriented operations center. Together with your team, you ensure that the timetable is implemented both in daily operations and with deployment planning.
Scheduling and holiday planning is an important element of employee satisfaction under your responsibility.
You are a team player and lead a team of around 12 people. Empowering and promoting people is close to your heart.
You ensure that the supporting IT systems in your area are applied correctly and further developed.
As part of the management team in the operations department, you are also involved in interdisciplinary and cross-departmental projects and tasks.

Your Profile

You have a pronounced sense of responsibility and maintain an overview even in hectic situations, working goal-oriented. Straightforwardness and a good sense of justice characterize you.
You bring professional and leadership experience in a comparable role and are accustomed to dealing with legal guidelines.
You have good IT skills and possess systemic thinking.
You have completed vocational training as well as further education in business administration.
We wish for an open-minded and communicative personality who can express themselves well and appropriately in German (spoken and written).
