Today, FPS Europe employs around 200 staff in Luxembourg and is seeking to recruit a Transfer Agent for Daily and Late Shift position.
Your role
As part of the Transfer Agent unit and more specifically the Dealing Team, your main role will be to manage the daily execution of transactions (subscriptions, redemptions, transfers, switches, reports) on UCI shares, as well as for monitoring transactions until settlement.
Daily shift is starting around from 8.00am to 6pm base on the daily activity.
Late shift is starting around from 1.00pm to 10pm base on the daily activity.
Responsibilities:
- Entering and checking orders for UCI share subscriptions/redemptions, transfers and conversions.
- Recording and monitoring cash and fund securities transactions together with the Reconciliation unit of the custody bank.
- Preparing and sending out confirmations and reporting (on fund flows) to promoters, distributors and other fund intermediaries.
- Understanding and booking corporate actions (issues, splits, mergers, liquidations, etc.).
- Responding to different requests from clients (inside and outside the Group) to guarantee that a quality service is provided that meets the requirements of demanding clients.
- Managing client commissions for in-house and third-party funds.
Your profile
Qualifications and experience:
- University degree (min BAC +3), specialising in Economics or Finance, or equivalent knowledge gained through work experience.
- Min 5 years’ experience in a similar position.
Specific knowledge:
- In-depth understanding of fund administration and transfer-agent processes.
- Knowledge of Multifonds software will be considered as an advantage.
- Experience of managing special funds with periodic NAV calculation and weekly, monthly, quarterly subscription/redemption schedules, cut-off dates, etc.
- Knowledge of advanced features of MS Excel.
- Available to work during off-hours and in shift (early / late).
Language skills:
- French and English are both mandatory.

- An enquiring mind and an ability to learn new things quickly.
