Our long-time choir conductor is retiring. Therefore, the Sankt-Martins-Chor
Adligenswil is looking for
a choir director (20%) starting January 1, 2026.
Who we are
The Sankt-Martins-Chor is the church choir of the Catholic parish of Adligenswil.
With over 30 singers, we maintain a broad repertoire of sacred and secular
choral music from Gregorian chant to contemporary works at an appealing level.
We rehearse on Thursday evenings and have about 12 performances per year at services and concerts.
Who we are looking for
You are interested in promoting an engaged amateur choir with your expertise and your open, motivating attitude.
You are willing to maintain our repertoire and expand it with new literature.
You understand choral singing as part of the liturgy, are well-versed in the liturgy of the Catholic
Church, and are ready to collaborate with the pastoral staff and the
board of the choir.
Ideally, you hold a Master's degree in church music (conducting).
Employment
Employment is through the Catholic parish of Adligenswil. The salary is based on the guidelines of the Roman Catholic state church of the canton of Lucerne.
