Our specialized EY-Parthenon (EY-P) team in the Financial Services sector supports our clients from the financial industry in complex, transaction-related corporate finance topics, especially with valuations, financial modeling, and data analysis. To further strengthen our team, we are looking for you as a Senior Consultant (100%). • As a Senior Consultant, you support corresponding valuation and modeling projects in the Financial Services area and interact directly with clients;
• You create complex financial models within the framework of M&A transactions;
• You prepare company valuations using various methods and according to international standards, and you also value intangible assets as part of purchase price allocations;
• You conduct impairment tests and option valuations for financial accounting;
• You support go-to-market activities, research, and market analyses;
• You work in multidisciplinary teams and for various industries within the financial services sector;
• For comprehensive training, you will also be involved in other transaction areas.

What you bring — skills with which you shape the future

• University degree (Master) with a focus on finance, accounting, banking, or insurance;
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in valuation, financial modeling, and corporate finance;
• Excellent analytical skills and independent working style;
• Relevant experience or genuine interest in the financial services sector;
• Advanced Excel skills. Knowledge in processing and visualizing large data sets (e.g., with Python or PowerBI) is an advantage;
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in German and English, both spoken and written. Knowledge of French and/or other European languages is an advantage;
• Conviction to contribute your own ideas and take responsibility;
• Open-minded, humorous, and dynamic personality;
