Regional Development Project Manager
Office of Economy and Tourism | 80-100% | Chur
Within the Office of Economy and Tourism (OET), you will face varied tasks at the intersection of politics, economy, and society. The regional development sector is responsible for coordinating and implementing various promotion programs related to regional economic development, handling promotion applications as well as promotion projects, and contributing to strengthening the regions of the Canton of Graubünden as attractive living and economic spaces.
For February 1, 2026 or by agreement, we are looking for a regional development project manager (80-100%) for the regional development sector.
Responsibilities
- You are the contact person for cantonal promotion programs, especially for the new regional policy (NRP) and the promotion strategy for broadband connection.
- You handle promotion applications and are responsible for controlling promotion projects and service mandates.
- You collaborate in coordinating regional management and provide specialist support to regional economic operators in the regions.
- In cooperation with the sector manager, you manage, develop, and control promotion programs as well as strategies aimed at strengthening the competitiveness of the canton and the regions.
- You support the regional development team in administrative and operational tasks related to regional development and the implementation of regional policy.
What we expect from you
- University or university of applied sciences degree, e.g., in business or public administration, economic geography, or regional development, ideally with professional experience
- Strong interest in economic interrelations as well as the economic and political life of the Canton of Graubünden
- Proficiency in German and knowledge of another cantonal language
- Analytical and strategic thinking as well as experience in applying project management methods and tools
- Structured, precise, and independent working method
- High social skills, self-confidence, and ability in oral and written communication
