The position is attached to the Operations Department . This department's mission is to ensure the stewardship and logistics necessary for the proper functioning of all HUG, in terms of catering, cleaning and disinfection of premises, and laundry hygiene. It also manages the sterilization service, the biomedical service, and the transport/distribution of various materials. More than 1,350 professionals carry out their missions with rigor, a sense of service, and a will for continuous improvement.
The Cleanliness-Hygiene Service (SPH) is responsible for cleaning and disinfecting more than 20,000 premises and beds by a highly qualified team with measures to prevent hospital infections. Encompassing more than 500 employees, the service also manages waste sorting, garden maintenance, and road management.
Job Description
You join the Cleanliness-Hygiene Service (SPH), within the Organization and Support team (EOS), as a data analysis intern.
Under the supervision of the Data referent, you actively participate in the management of digital projects and provide operational support to the service.
Your main mission focuses on a strategic project to reorganize the service at the Cluse-Roseraie site, with deployment planned for February.
In this context, you contribute to several initiatives aimed at identifying needs and existing operational gaps. You propose concrete solutions to adapt existing resources and processes. You optimize the flow of beds within the pool, study patient movements and workloads. Your analyses lead to targeted improvement recommendations.
At the same time, you contribute to daily data management and processing activities, including reporting, automation, verification of business references, and improving data quality, essential elements for managing SPH activities.
Finally, depending on the service's priorities, you may be called upon to participate in other digital projects.
Qualifications
You are currently pursuing a Master's level training in Business Analytics, Information Systems, or any other curriculum deemed equivalent.
You master office tools such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with an intermediate to advanced level in Excel recommended.
You have strong skills in data analysis and visualization, notably with R, and are familiar with SQL. Knowledge of process analysis and visualization tools such as Qlik Sense is an asset.
Conscientious and proactive, you show initiative and are capable of investing yourself in projects with high technical and organizational demands. Equipped with planning skills and the ability to manage unforeseen events, you adopt a solution-oriented approach and know how to work independently.
