The Technical department is offering a position for
Bodywork Painter
Your mission
Reporting to the bodywork/painting manager, you will carry out various painting tasks with, upon request, support in applying screen printing work, in order to provide various internal and external clients, within the best deadlines, a quality of service that meets their needs, in compliance with rules, standards, and directives. You contribute to the repair and maintenance work of the entire vehicle fleet (including service vehicles) and infrastructures.
Your main responsibilities
• Execute within the given deadlines the various painting and/or sticker application tasks according to repair and/or maintenance needs, and communicate necessary instructions to the specialized employee if applicable.
• Based on transmitted opinions and/or special requests, perform various sanding, possibly puttying and cleaning of various parts and elements related to vehicles and infrastructures, and communicate necessary instructions to the specialized employee to carry out painting work within the best deadlines.
• Provide support for the application/removal of stickers; in services, maintenance, upholstery, glazing, but also for chassis maintenance and sealing joint application.
Your profile
• Holder of a federal certificate of competence (CFC) as a bodywork painter or an equivalent qualification,
• minimum 4 years of professional experience in a similar position,
• a criminal record that is strictly clean (dated less than 6 months),
• an SIAC extract without license withdrawal,
• heavy vehicle license, TM (TPG corridor tram) or meet eligibility conditions,
• very good technical knowledge of vehicles,
• ability to work in a team
• sense of responsibility and willingness to commit
• apprentice trainer certificate is an asset.
