Your mission:
- Ensure the management and development of the Radio-Oncology Department
- Collaborate with the outpatient and inpatient services of the HFR providing patients for radio-oncology and with private practice physicians
- Supervise and participate in the training of senior physicians and assistant physicians in training
- Participate in the teaching of medical students (Bachelor and Master) at the University of Fribourg
Your profile:
- Hold an ISFM specialist title in radio-oncology (or equivalent, with MEBEKO recognition)
- Have extensive clinical experience covering all aspects of radio-oncology, including in-depth knowledge in the treatment of breast or prostate cancers
- Hold or be in the process of obtaining a higher academic title (Master of Teaching and Research, or Privat-docent)
- Have leadership, management, and supervisory experience as a senior physician in a university or significant regional hospital
- Experience in teaching at pre- and postgraduate levels
- Excellent communication, integration, and collaboration skills with a multidisciplinary team, as well as with other HFR professionals and private practice physicians
- Communicative and committed personality
- Fluency in French or German with good knowledge of the other language (minimum level B2)

Responsibilities
- You ensure the leadership and further development of the Radio-Oncology Department.
- You collaborate with the outpatient and inpatient departments of the HFR as well as with private practice physicians who refer patients to the Radio-Oncology Department.
- You supervise senior physicians and assistant physicians in training
and participate in their training
- You contribute to the teaching of medical students (Bachelor and Master levels) at the University of Fribourg.
Profile
- SIWF specialist title in Radio-Oncology (or equivalent degree with MEBEKO recognition)
- Comprehensive clinical experience covering all areas of radio-oncology, especially in-depth knowledge in the treatment of breast and prostate cancer
- Higher academic title (teaching and research councilor, Privat-docent) or in the process of obtaining it
- Leadership and management experience in a senior medical position in a university hospital or a
major regional hospital
- Teaching experience in basic and continuing education
- Excellent communication skills, teamwork, and ability to integrate into an interprofessional team
and collaborate with other HFR professionals and private practice physicians
- Communicative and committed personality
German or French with excellent knowledge of the other language (min. level B2)
