Your Tasks
- Conducting hygiene instructions, training, and practical guidance as well as advising various professional groups and clinic management
- Identification, recording, and evaluation of hygiene-relevant pathogens (according to IfSG) as well as deriving resulting hygiene and prevention measures
- Conducting inspections and hygiene audits in all departments to ensure compliance with hygiene guidelines
- Supporting the existing hygiene team at the location (e.g. hygiene specialists, hygiene officers from nursing and medical staff as well as the consulting hospital hygienist)
- Close cooperation with the Medical Director of the Infectiology & Hygiene Management department and the hygiene specialists of other AMEOS locations
- Independent development of hygiene-related information strategies (e.g. creation of informational materials) as well as creation, further development, and monitoring of hygiene concepts
- Support and monitoring of construction measures in clinics under hygiene-relevant aspects
Your Profile
- Completed training as a specialist in health and nursing with at least two years of professional experience
- Preferably completed advanced training as a hygiene specialist with state recognition, alternatively willingness to participate in further training to become a hygiene specialist
- Application knowledge in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Ability to act independently and work in a structured manner
- Ability to handle criticism and conflict, ability for appreciative communication
- High level of initiative, organizational talent, and assertiveness as well as the ability for interdisciplinary cooperation
- Willingness to travel within the AMEOS locations in Western Pomerania
