School Social Worker Primary School Hausen am Albis 60%Good for life – that is our motto. The Office for Youth and Career Counseling of the Canton of Zurich, branch office of the districts Affoltern, Dietikon, Horgen, operates a regional school social work office. On behalf of schools, it is responsible for the personnel, professional, and administrative management of school social workers. To ensure a low-threshold school social work service, the workplaces are located in the individual school communities.
For the primary school Hausen am Albis, we are looking for a school social worker starting May 1, 2026, or by agreement.
You advise and support children, adolescents, parents, and teachers in educational and social matters. You are familiar with child protection and child welfare. In crises and conflicts, you conduct interventions in classes and groups. As far as possible, you also provide prevention and project work. In addition, you work with the school team and other specialist agencies.
For this task, we require a completed degree in social work at the university of applied sciences level. Several years of professional experience in school social work or in the socio-educational field with children and adolescents are desired. You have skills in counseling, prevention, crisis intervention, and project work as well as an independent and interdisciplinary way of working.
We offer you a varied, interesting, and independent activity with annual working hours (compensation of school holiday time through increased workload during the school term).
