Site Reliability Engineer (a)

Your tasks include:

  • You build scalable, reliable and secure cloud infrastructure by writing automation code.
  • You design and implement continuous integration and deployment tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Docker, GitLab.
  • You set-up and maintain network infrastructure, deploy, tune and maintain virtual Linux servers, write scripts and analyze log files.
  • You act as engineering liaison between DevOps, customers, sales, web development, product management, QA and other departments.
  • You streamline the development cycle by setting up infrastructure, tools and frameworks.
  • You spread and seed DevOps best practices across our company.
  • You support the On-call team for business operations.

What you bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years of experience on enterprise-level Linux system administration.
  • A good understanding of mixed architecture of IaaS solutions such as Azure, AWS and OpenStack. Infrastructure-as-code is a plus.
  • Good understanding of web application architectures (web servers, relational / non-relational databases, caching tiers, fault-tolerant design).
  • Professional certifications are welcome but not mandatory.
  • Professional level of English is a must, good German skills are highly preferred but not a must.
  • Solid communications, team working and interpersonal skills, as you will frequently work with other technical and non-technical partners as a representative of our organization.
