Your new role

You accompany adolescents and young adults aged 15 to 26 in their leisure activities and support them in actively implementing their ideas, interests, and concerns. In doing so, you promote their self-, factual, and social competence through offered opportunities for encounters, exchange, and learning.

A central part of your work is the initiation, accompaniment, and implementation of projects together with young people. You create spaces for participation and design offers participatively so that the target group is actively involved in decision-making processes. In your work, you orient yourself towards sociocultural and life-world-oriented approaches. You address current topics and needs of the youth and develop suitable offers and activities from them. The promotion of participation is guiding and shapes your professional actions. Irregular working hours as well as assignments in the evenings and on weekends are part of this activity.

With your commitment, you contribute to creating attractive meeting places and sustainably strengthening the quality of life for adolescents and young adults.

This position is for you if you

• have a university of applied sciences degree in social work.
• enjoy open work with young people.
• possess pronounced social skills such as communication and cooperation skills, conflict resolution skills, and empathy.
• bring enthusiasm for direct, low-threshold, participatory work with young people and remain calm even in lively and unexpected situations.
• appreciate professionally sound and reflective work.
• are willing to work flexibly.
