As the head of our Bern North cluster kitchen, you bear overall responsibility for the culinary well-being of our residents as well as our restaurant guests. With a passion for healthy, flavorful, and varied cuisine, you ensure the high-quality implementation of the Domicil standards – applying contemporary production methods.
Together with your cross-location kitchen team (around 15 employees, including 2 sous chefs and 2 apprentices), you ensure smooth daily operations. Thanks to prudence and commitment, you guarantee an efficient and economical use of food, equipment, and resources. Compliance with applicable hygiene and quality regulations is a matter of course for you. In addition to your leadership and organizational tasks, you actively participate in production yourself, significantly contributing to team dynamics and the overall culinary experience. Working hours are without room hour in early or late shifts until about 6:30 p.m., weekend shifts are also included.

- Chef with a federal diploma or federal diploma as production manager/head of community catering
- Additional training as a diet cook EFZ is an advantage
- At least 3 years of leadership experience as head of kitchen or many years of experience as deputy in a larger operation

Domicil Spitalackerpark is located in a beautiful, green environment - centrally in the popular Breitenrain district. The modern senior center with 48 care rooms, 69 apartments, and a public restaurant is characterized by a warm atmosphere and lived hospitality.
At the end of March 2026, Domicil Wyler (Wylerringstrasse 58, 3014 Bern) will open in the Breitenrain district. It has 112 care rooms and a public restaurant. As part of the establishment of the Bern North living space, production for Domicil Spitalackerpark will also take place in the state-of-the-art kitchen of Domicil Wyler during 2027.
