What awaits you: 

• Responsibility for data quality, availability, and security in the finance organization

• Maintenance and development of data models, data catalogs, and policies

• Prioritization and maintenance of the data backlog and management of data workstreams in coordination with process streams  

• Responsibility for compliance with regulatory and compliance requirements

• Coordination of collaboration with IT, data stewards, and other departments for implementation and quality assurance

• Active stakeholder management in the data area (requesters, systems, processes)

• Definition of technical requirements for data governance and decision-making on standards in coordination with relevant coordinators

• Approval of changes to data models and structures and escalation in case of conflicts or risks in the data environment

• Support for data-driven innovation and process optimization

You bring with you: 

• Completed studies in the field of economics, business informatics, mathematics, statistics, data science, or a comparable qualification

• Several years of professional experience in data management, ideally in the financial environment or in quality assurance and data analysis

• Solid knowledge in data governance, data quality assurance, and regulatory requirements

• Experience in the application and optimization of data management and analysis tools (e.g., Power BI, SQL, SAP, data catalogs)

• Strong analytical skills as well as strategic and solution-oriented thinking

• Communication skills, persuasiveness, and enjoyment in collaborating with diverse stakeholders – from departments to IT to external partners

• Change management competence and willingness to actively accompany change processes

• Very good German skills in spoken and written form; English skills are an advantage
