To complete the Vehicle Engineering unit, we are offering a position of:
Methods Technician
Your mission
Reporting to the vehicle engineering manager, you participate in the definition, optimization, and standardization of vehicle maintenance processes and ranges (bus, trolleybus, and tram) in order to improve the reliability, availability, and safety of the fleet as well as establish maintenance instructions to carry out the work in an industrialized manner, with the best possible quality, at an optimized cost, with the necessary traceability.
You participate in studies related to the acquisition of new vehicles and their commissioning, the implementation of new tools, training, as well as the establishment of data necessary for the operation of the CMMS.
Your main responsibilities
• Provide effective support in various projects related to the acquisition of new vehicles and tooling or equipment as needed, notably by participating in the preparation of specifications for tenders, vehicle reception, as well as through technical monitoring of modification/adaptation projects of TPG vehicles,
• Be the reference person for workshop technical equipment in the various depots,
• Provide technical support to maintenance teams. Collaborate in the training and support of technicians on new methods and technologies,
• Prepare various reports and technical documents related to ongoing work and collect, organize, archive, and continuously update the filing system of these documents, in collaboration with the documentation manager.
Your profile
• ES technician in electronics, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or equivalent qualification,
• Minimum 10 years of confirmed experience in a transport company,
• Good knowledge of maintenance methods (preventive, corrective, conditional),
• Excellent ability to work in a team and collaborate with various stakeholders,
• Professional and constructive attitude, open to exchanges and feedback in a spirit of continuous improvement,
• Comfortable with new technologies,
• Initiative and versatility, field-oriented, pragmatic and solution-focused,
• Ability to work in synergy with other internal services and external partners, in a spirit of cooperation.
• Good knowledge of English.
